Bottle of Zinfandel

 

Drunken Cheesy Bread


1/2 - 3/4 Baguette in 1/2 inch slices

1/2 small yellow onion, thinly sliced

1/8 lb. thin sliced ham

3/4 C white wine

1/2 tsp black pepper

1  1/2 C grated Swiss cheese


  • butter a 9x9 pan
  • place bread in the pan 
  • scatter the onion & ham over the bread
  • pour the wine over all
  • sprinkle with the cheese & pepper 
  • bake at 400 for 20 minutes
